How to work in face book in offline mode using mobile?

                                                                                 India has estimated 34 million registered Facebook .To expand its roots more deeper into rural areas and to strengthen its current user base Facebook has partnered with Fonetwish for free access to Facebook accounts without Internet connection.Now you access Facebook even with stone age phones like Nokia 1100 which even don’t have Gprs facility.

Earlier, I wrote about how you can Search in Google without internet connection but you get charged for SMS (local sms charges).However access to facebook account and Status updates is completely free.If you also want to use features like Notifications, updating friends wall you have to subscribe to Fonetwish premium plan which is very cheap.

HOW IT WORKS:

Just dial *325# or *fbk# from your mobile and wait for the confirmation message on the screen. Give your username and password to access Facebook without any Data Charges. Hack : Post Empty Status on Facebook

We usually update our facebook status with a quote , a joke or share a line about our day. All of us want to get attention of others to our status. To attract others we have many cool ways to write special characters on the facebook walls, but this is the cooolest one since its empty status update. seriously not even one single word or letter or dot.

How would you feel if you see a blank status update from someone? Amazed!! Hold on learn yourself and amaze your friends too..

You can’t write a blank status update by simply pressing the Space key and then clicking on Post button.Instead you have to use special codes to write a blank character in your facebook status.
Trick to Post Empty Status on Facebook :-
Login to your Facebook Account and go to Update Status field.
Press and hold Alt key and just type 0173.
Release Alt Key and click on share Post.
That’s all now your empty status will be update.

If the above trick doesn’t work in your account then type @[0:0: ] in your status and share it.

How to hide your Facebook status?

Privacy can sometimes be a big concern for users on Facebook, especially sharing the status updates with almost everyone in the friend list. But there is a way out and one can choose to keep only a selected few updated with their status messages.

Here is how you can do it:

1) Click on the Settings link located at the topmost part of the page. Under the heading privacy click on the link manage.

2) Click on profile, which would take you to the profile page. The fourth option is Status and Links, from the dropdown you can select customize option. Either you can block friends who could not get your status updates or you can select specific friends from your friend list who would get your status updates.

3) Hit the okay button. Your new privacy settings apply automatically.
